Story in Resident Evil 4

Leon is assigned to escort the family of the newly elected president. When president Ashley Graham's daughter is kidnapped, Leon is assigned to find her daughter, it is his first mission. Leon was sent to investigate himself, along with two police officers. Unfortunately, it seems that something strange is happening with the villagers! After the two police officers disappeared and it was discovered they were both dead, Leon realized that he had to survive in the village alone.

Leon gets info from Ingrid Hunnigan, about a cursed organization called "Los Illuminados", a religious sect led by Saddler. This sect uses a mysterious parasite called "Plaga" to control the entire village, to serve as Saddler's troops. Even though the situation doesn't seem to be as expected, the sect's followers realize that Leon is their biggest annoyance.

During his missionary journey, Leon is assisted by Luis Sera, a man who is later discovered to be a researcher who used to work for Saddler, but he betrayed him. Once again, Leon had the opportunity to meet Ada, who was also involved in this incident. She provided assistance to Leon, but besides that she also had a mission of her own. Leon was also assisted by Hunnigan. On the way, however, the channel of communication was hijacked by members of the sect, and he was forced to rely on himself to survive.

In conclusion, Leon succeeded in creating Ashley in a church, and he began to take responsibility for his safety, when the two walked around the area controlled by Los Illuminados. Even so, in conclusion they both realized that they were injected with the Plaga and they were racing against time to create a medicine for this before they turned into Saddler's slave for good.

Getting a weapon from a mysterious seller, Leon successfully defeated all the enemies who approached him in the village and in a mysterious castle understood by the sect. In conclusion, he fought two of Saddler's confidants, the village chief Bitores Mendez and the castle guard, Ramon Salazar. Leon also confronts his former partner, Jack Krauser, who is currently working as a double agent for a mysterious group and Saddler. The conclusion is known that the mysterious third person involved in this matter is Albert Wesker, who is also the leader of Ada Wong.

Unknown to Leon, another secret battle is intertwined behind the scenes, which can be found in Ada's scenario, “Separate Ways”. In conclusion, Ashley is kidnapped again, and Leon fights with time to save her before the plaga fully develops. With Ada Wong's constant encouragement, Leon fought his way through a military base. Where Saddler and his sect members fled.

Fighting either with enemies or "enemies" within his body, this battle tests Leon's skills and strength. Leon fights Krauser for the last time, and in the conclusion he can save Ashley and himself after successfully eliminating the plaga located in their bodies using a kind of radiation machine, which was raised by Luis. After that, Leon fights Saddler in his true form, and with Ada's encouragement, is able to end his life and his plans to understand the world.

After the fight, Ada took the illustration from Leon and fled, having previously shared a path for Leon and Ashley to escape on a jet-ski. Ashley invites Leon over to her house to “work overtime”, but Leon gently refuses. After completing his mission, he had a dialogue with Hunnigan, whose conclusions were successful in reconnecting his lines of communication. He praised Hunnigan's appearance, this time without wearing his glasses and teased him by asking for his phone number. Hunnigan refused, insisting that Leon was still in service.

Shortly after that after the incident. Leon made a report known as the "Kennedy Report", describing his experience on the mission.
