Luis Sera is Leon's acquaintance in Resident Evil 4. In the past, he was a researcher of the Los Illuminados sect and was a police officer in Madrid. Luis Sera and his grandfather often used secret routes in the village.

When Luis Sera came home. Saddler, the boss of the terrifying Los Illuminados, has controlled and controlled the village. Saddler then has Luis research Las Plagas, and Luis is impressed by his research.

Examples of the results of their research are the Plaga Parasite which can control slave types, Novistadors, B.O.W., and also the Plaga removal machine used by Ashley and Leon at the end of this chapter of the game.

Luis was later saved by Leon S. Kennedy. Luis also assists Leon and Ashley Graham in their escape. At this point, Luis has managed to get samples. But Saddler manages to kill him in front of Leon.
